Evan Henry is here!

Looks like I wrote that last post a little too soon. By 12:30 a.m. the next morning I was in labor. I had no idea it would take 33 hours for Evan to arrive, but it was worth every minute. On Saturday morning, May 31, at 9:11 a.m. Evan Henry entered the world at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, 20 and a half inches long. He has a head full of his Daddy's dark hair and the most amazing little face. Dan and I are just head over heels in love with him. We're home now and adjusting to new parenthood - sleepless nights (and days), more diapers than we can count, and a baby that enthralls us.

Here are some pictures from the big day and a few since we got home.

The day we checked out of the hospital. We had no idea the night we had ahead of us! The nursery at the hospital makes it look so easy...

The car ride home.

Beautiful dreamer.

More Evan stories coming soon!
