Dr. Seuss

As a sort of "capstone" to 2nd grade, Evan had to read a biography on someone famous, write a summary paper, and give a class presentation in character. He chose Theodore Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss, as his subject. He loved the book, but narrowing his huge list of "cool things about Dr. Seuss" for the paper was a challenge. He spent a LOT of time on it. I'm a little nervous for what 3rd grade will bring if this is any indication. He made it through though and typed up his own presentation notes. The day of the presentation he went in as a young Dr. Seuss, and took the beard and glasses with him for the actual event. Pretty handsome impersonator, if you ask me. Pretty proud of the effort he put forth and the A grade he earned!
