Early Spring

On one of the warmer days last week, as soon as I picked up Evan from school we headed out to play in the yard. We got the bubbles out for the first time this year too.

Is this thing on?

So happy he actually (almost) stopped to smile for me.

Twice!

Tree limbs and little boys are like magnets. (Also, I discovered I can take a picture with one hand and hold a tree limb with another. Professional mommy.)

I don't know what is up with his hair. There are some universal truths about my child's hair I adhere to: 1. I don't cut it. 2. It looks normal most of the time. 3. When I'm taking pictures it will look like I don't own a hairbrush.

No bangs, but wait - looks like Spanky, has Alfalfa's hair!

Evan decided bubbles would make the flowers happy. I love his concentration face.

Come on Spring, we're ready for you! Minus the tornadoes, thanks.

Evan has several of them, but it's hit or miss on whether or not they work, even straight out of the package. This one has been great. It even got dropped in a pool and it keeps going.

I have the SAME issue with Piper...she never looks like I put a brush through her hair!! He looks SO adorable here, though, and I honestly I notice nothing about his hair but that it's so cute.
