Firefighter Evan

Evan was much more into Halloween this year than last. On the upside, it was relatively easy to get him to dress up for the various events (there were five, including Halloween!) we went to. On the downside, he remembers there's a treat bag in the pantry this year.

He also chose his costume this year. He's been waving at the firehouse we pass daily for a few weeks, so I thought how fun would it be if he could dress up and go SEE the fire trucks? We have two great friends who both happen to be firefighters. So I contacted my friend Emily and she went above and beyond showing Evan around. A HUGE thanks to Emily and David for making a little boy's day (okay, and mine too)!

They really *do* jump into their clothes.

Just when I think he's getting so grown up, I'm reminded how small he still is.

What is it with little boys and large, potentially dangerous tools? ::sigh::
