Vacation!

We hadn't taken a family vacation since our first anniversary, so this was a long overdue trip. We traveled to Rochester for a family wedding, then on to Canada the rest of the week. Evan enjoyed his first airplane travel, complete with an adventurous run through the airport to our gate.

Our first stop was Niagara Falls. Cheesy tourist trap, but wow, what a site.

Then it was on to Toronto for a whirlwind tour. It was a surprisingly un-stroller-friendly city, so we were lucky enough to serve as packmules for Evan. Exercise for the week? Check!

Evan loved the audio guides.

The museums in Toronto are great for families. Both the Science Center and the Royal Ontario have hands-on areas for kiddos. Evan had fun, and it was a nice break for all of us. He went 'shopping' in a kids' market:

And played the part of a little prince.

I'm not sure who had more fun.

And what would a trip to Canada be without a few moose (and bear) sightings, eh?
