7 Months

Connor is chugging right along and growing up so quickly! I miss the itty-bitty stage. Of course, this time next year I'll be pining for when he was this age. Don't get me wrong, this stage is awesome in so many ways. He's really active, and rolls around to get where he wants to go.

He can push up and is 95% there on sitting up without a spotter.

He "talks" by babbling, blowing raspberries, and screeching at his brother's antics. His hands are in perpetual motion (must be the Italian side of him...ha!), especially when he's excited about something. He crinkles his nose when he laughs. It's ridiculously adorable. He furrows his brow when trying to figure something (or someone) out.

At 7 months, I read that babies start to figure out object permanence. When an object is dropped, instead of crying, they might look for it instead. For toys and such, Connor will do this. However, this object permanence thing is not applicable to mommy. When he's tired, he wants me. You can track where I am in the house based on Connor's cry. Laundry room (cry), family room (smile), kitchen (cry), family room (smile), laundry (cry). It would be funny were it not a little pitiful.

He already has favorite foods - carrots, green beans, and rice cereal. Mostly purees, but he's sampled cooked green beans and seems to be a fan.

He loves to participate in anything Evan is doing. One night Evan decided to read to Connor. My heart melted.
