What happens when Dan goes out of town the same weekend as a planned girls' trip to Huber's Orchard?  Evan gets to be the center of attention with his harem, that's what.  Despite my fears that a napless day would equal disaster, he was an absolute charmer and so well behaved.  You think Huber's takes boarders?

Anyway, here are a few pictures from the day.  It was beautiful weather, but shooting in harsh sunlight is the worst.

Getting his first driving lesson from Heidi.  She's going to be one awesome mom.  One month to go!

We rode the tractor out to the apple orchard to entertain Evan, then ended up picking apples.  There was talk of pie making.  I'm trying to think of a clever excuse to have to drop by their houses.  Hey Heidi, didn't you want to borrow the baby bouncer?

I love this attempt at hiding the apple as he sneaks a bite.  Clever boy.

We went not too long ago and had so much fun. We ate so many apples at the Orchard and over the course of the day, I think we made ourselves sick! We're going to make a trip to pick pumpkins soon! I'm glad you guys had a good time! Heidi looks so flippin' cute, by the way. Here's our link to Huber's if you want to take a peek. :-)
